Planning to stay at home and celebrate Valentine’s Day? With some good food and these fabulous cocktails, you should be able to seduce the coolest heart.
Here are five gorgeous cocktails to set hearts and romance racing.
- Cocktail shaker
- 30ml Beacon Gin
- 20ml IL Convent Limoncello
- 10ml lemon juice
- Tall glass
- 120ml soda water
Shake well and strain into a tall glass with fresh ice. Top with 120ml of soda water. Garnish with a bunch of lemon wheels.
- 45ml Toschi Amaretto
- 90ml sweet-and-sour mix
- Splash of lemon-lime soda, such as 7 Up or Sprite
- Maraschino cherries
- Sugar for rim
Combine and shake the liqueur and mix in a cocktail shaker.
Pour the contents into a glass and add crushed ice and as many cherries as desired.
For an elegant touch, dip the rim of the glass in lemon juice and coat it with granulated sugar before adding the liquid and cherries to the glass.
- 30ml Sambuca Molinari
- 1/2 freshly squeezed lime
- 5 or 6 mint leaves
- Still water
Prepare the drink directly into the glass. Mash lime and mint leaves
Add Sambuca Molinari, ice cubes, stir and mix. Finally, add water.
Moscow Mule Mimosas
- Sugar for rim
- 1 lime, sliced into rounds
- 120ml Sheep Whey Vodka
- 120ml ginger beer
- 120ml Prosecco
- 60ml orange juice
Rim two glasses with a slice of lime and dip in sugar. Divide vodka, ginger beer, prosecco, and orange juice into two glasses. Serve.
And finally, for the whisky lovers.
Fill a glass about two-thirds of the way with ice. Add whiskey and amaretto. Stir until well chilled, about 20 seconds.
Strain into ice-filled rocks glass. Serve
